Scalpelling, black moonstone and tongue bifurcation: exciting times ahead
My piercer is currently in Amsterdam, where among other things he should be tracking down jewellery for me to wear while my ears heal from being scalpelled. This has been being planned for ages, but getting hold of jewellery with enough length to accomodate the likely swelling has proved to be a nightmare. I’m really hoping he does find something while he’s there. If he does, then we should be able to go ahead next week.
I’ve also commisioned a set of 1/2” and 6g black moonstone plugs from middlewoodlandearspools, which I’m looking forward to getting - I plan for my half inch collection to be one of overall high quality, hence the custom work and custom matches for my conch where possible.
My piercer has also mentionned doing tongue bifurcation, so I’ve said I’m interested. I’m not sure when that will be - it’s not an immediate goal of mine, more a mid- to long-term thing, especially as it’s more extreme than anything I currently have, and I want to make sure I’m mentally prepared for it.
